Biography:

My childhood was spent in Ohio, where I grew up in the wide-open spaces on my parent’s 160 acre farm Adventist Education has been instrumental in all aspects of my life. Hamlet SDA Elementary, Mt. Vernon Academy and Andrews University were schools I attended, earning a Bachelor of Music Education degree and finding my husband at Andrews. Steve was also a Music Education major, so we began a career of teaching in the Adventist schools in Michigan, California, Colorado, Nebraska and Ohio. During these years we had two daughters and now have two sons-in-law and two grandchildren.

Personal Mission Statement:

As a music teacher my goal was to help each student become a person who was a life-long lover of music and to see how God can use music to touch a person’s soul.
