I come from a family of 4 teachers, and saw the impact teachers could have on the youth of today. After graduating from San Pasqual Academy I attended Palomar College for two years then transferred to La Sierra University to finish my degree in Physical Education and Health. During this time I met my future wife April who works at Escondido Academy as well, teaching Kindergarten. After graduating from La Sierra University I worked at San Fernando Valley Academy as the Athletic Director and coach of all sports. In 2003 I jumped at the opportunity to come home to Escondido, and have been blessed to be a part of such an outstanding school.
