Linda was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Southern University in Collegedale, Tennessee. She taught third and fourth grade for four years at Greater Miami Academy, multi-grade classrooms (5-8) for four years at San Pasqual Elementary School, and has taught grades fourth through eighth at EAA since 1987. Her husband's name is Kalvin and he too is an elementary educator in the public school system. Our anniversary is June 2nd. We have two children, Kameron, a Consultant at Deloitte and Kaitlyn, an Exercise Science major at Pacific Union College.

Linda's thirty-seven years of teaching have been grades 3 through 8th grade, including multi-grade classrooms. She has been teaching middle school since 2008.

Hobbies & Interests:
Linda enjoys reading, shopping, hiking, going to the health club and "working out", watching HGTV, and being a cheerleader for her children. She does not like to cook and is fortunate to have a husband who does.
